TOI TOI & DIXI Group GmbH offers sanitary and hygiene solutions for private and business customers. The TOI TOI® and DIXI® brands are well known internationally, making them synonymous with the well-known sanitary solutions at many construction sites, festivals and similar events. However, the company offers much more solutions than is generally known.
The TYPO3 CMS relaunch builds visually on other systems of the company group and offers a comfortable cross-national content management with e-commerce possibilities. The TYPO3 CMS infrastructure is flexibly designed for easy expansion to include further target markets and languages. It is hosted on an equally flexible, scalable load-balancing hosting system based on AWS / Amazon Cloud Services with several web servers.

TYPO3 Product Management

The websites include a comfortable product administration with which each country can manage and structure the individual product catalogues. The primary aim was to avoid any unnecessary additional work for the countries. This was achieved through intelligent solutions in the TYPO3 CMS with, for example, shared content that can be used by all countries. The products can be collected in a shopping cart and can be requested or paid for directly online.

TYPO3 SEO- and Conversion-Optimisation

In addition, great importance was attached to SEO and conversion-optimised page delivery, good mark-up options for structured meta data, performance and more, in order to position the new e-commerce services perfectly. Here, the use of TYPO3 CMS Version 10 offers excellent possibilities for URL management, URL forwarding, sitemaps and data mark-up, multi-language management and much more. Flanking this, attractive blog and news articles can be created to constantly generate new and interesting content, which is also a decisive SEO factor.

TYPO3 Multilanguage

The administration of 12 countries and even more languages brings with it some challenges in the editorial work and translation of the contents. To make the translation work as efficient as possible, various contents were pre-translated centrally and made available for all country websites for convenient integration. On the other hand, automated translation options using "Deepl" and "Google Translate" were integrated into the TYPO3 CMS via extension modules. In addition, content can be exported, transferred to translation agencies and then imported again.
