When you order picture products, you choose the dimensions, material and frames yourself, get a graphic preview of the different frames and then receive an individually produced picture delivered to your home. Various technical interfaces to the production service provider for the individually produced image products as well as to the logistics service provider for the order processing of all other products in the shop ensure that the processes run smoothly. In addition, Magento interfaces to a SAP accounting system from Gruner + Jahr are used to map invoicing and other accounting processes without duplication. The entire shop has a modern Responsive Frontend based on the Twitter Bootstrap CSS framework and can therefore be used across all devices, including mobile devices. A variety of payment methods are possible, including credit card, PayPal, Klarna, Giropay or instant bank transfer. The technical implementation of the web shop was based on the open source shop system Magento.
