In intensive cooperation with the client, we developed a new and fresh Responsive Design that reflects the very high information depth of the company as well as possible. The pharmaceutical and sometimes very complex subject matter required various special content elements. Likewise, the very deeply nested depth of information and thus the menu structure was a challenge, especially to display it on a mobile device.

In the area of "Biochemicals", the TYPO3 language concept had to be partially adapted, as here content is only available in English and not in German and English as in the rest of the website. In addition, there are various contact forms, newsletter registration and order processes, all of which were realized by customizing the TYPO3 form framework EXT:form.

In addition, during this relaunch, a great deal of attention was paid to search engine optimization, technical prerequisites for this were created, and support was provided for content and text creation. A new news and blog system also supports this aspect.

To ensure that all content can be found easily, an indexed and faceted search function has been set up with EXT:ke_search. This also searches in the new career area, which is connected to the interfaces of an external HR system, through which applicant management takes place.
