On 25.05.2018, the EU data protection basic regulation (DSGVO), which has been in existence for some time, will now become binding. In principle, this law affects almost every website operator and we urgently advise you to deal with the subject, consult legal advice if necessary and check your website to see whether it meets the requirements of the DSGVO. Unfortunately, the whole thing is not a particularly "tempting" topic, but there may be severe penalties for violations of the DSGVO. We will be happy to assist you from a technical point of view if adjustments to your website or web shop become necessary. This could include, for example, the SSL encryption of your website, security updates, cookie hint elements, data protection-compliant integration of social media plugins from Facebook.
